Boone Lake Dam Management District

The Town Council of the Town of Exeter voted and approved the creation of The Boone Lake Dam Management District. The district was formed pursuant to the authority granted under enabling legislation that had been promoted by the State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. On December 11, 2007, the Town Council appointed the initial members of the Board of Directors (listed below) pursuant to the provisions of the adopted ordinance. Under the provision of the ordinance, the Dam Management District was required to have its first public meeting within 18 months of the appointment of the initial three-member board. This first meeting was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.

Annual Meeting of the Boone Lake Dam Management District

Notice is given of the meeting of the Boone Lake Dam Management District on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 7:00 PM at Metcalf School, Nooseneck Hill Road (Route 3), Exeter, RI, for the purpose of adopting a budget and for all other matters that may legally come before the meeting. Any changes to the date or time of the meeting will be posted at the lake entrance and on this website.
