(At left) The new gate mechanism (plywood is the form for the concrete and will be removed)
is being prepared to be lowered into the hole by a crane. The blue is styrofoam to protect the stainless steel
structure from the concrete.
The orange mechanism on the left is used to pack the dirt down to make certain there are no problems to the
new dam due to loose fill.

The actual gate portion will be added at
a later date. This is just the track for the gate to slide on.
